Blaney, the 23-year-old third generation NASCAR driver, will guest star in the upcoming season of NBC’s “Taken,” a TV series which serves as a prequel to the Liam Neeson film franchise in which Clive Standen plays Bryan Mills decades before the movies.

Mills works with former CIA operative Christina Hart and a team of fellow operatives to tackle missions around the world.
Blaney will appear in the episode, “Imperium,” which is scheduled to air in 2018 (The second season of the show premiers Jan. 12), and will feature Blaney as a special FBI agent with distinct driving skills.
This isn’t Blaney’s first venture into Hollywood. He appeared as one of the NASCAR drivers in the film, “Logan Lucky,” and lent his voice to a character in Disney’s “Cars 3.”

I can't say anything, not having heard of this program before today, or the films either.

And yet somehow I consider myself happy. o_O

I have heard of Liam Neeson but none of the other stuff and consider myself happy too if for no other reason than I was able to photograph Blue Jays and Cardinals against the backdrop of a clean sheet of snow this morning.

Just watched Logan Lucky a few weeks ago, didn't catch Blaney in it. Seen Brad, Joey, Carl, Kyle Busch and Larson but must have missed Blaney.

I think he was a delivery guy or something. I just watched it the other day and barely recognized him in it.

I drove by a farm pond on my way home a couple of weeks ago. I got shots of a dozen Ruddy Ducks. Last week I detoured through partially completed subdivision where construction stopped during the recession; two dozen American Pipits. I assume they were migrating through, since neither species have returned. Both were lifers!

Life is good.
