They increased the race by 50 kilometers because Eddie and Bruton felt that the prices of the tickets were not worthy for the length of the race, which was 500 kilometers in 1 hour 37 minutes last year. So they changed it to 550 kilometers and it lasted about 2 hours or so. They will talk to the teams and see how the engines and drivers did, before approving the race be put to 600 kilometers for next year.

It was a great race to watch on TV. I was exhausted but stayed up until the end!

good pics but really big, I don't know if you may want to resize them?
 
yea i had the camera set to the #2 setting so all the images are 1600*1200. I like the sharpness i can get from the high resolution with the indy cars (and they match my 1280*1024 screen better) and i thought if i took the big pictures and scaled them back to normal size, it'd take out the fuzziness i tend to have with the fast shutter and lack of light. I haven't seen if my hypothesis was true or not.
