Well for the shootout it was Regan Smith for causing the big wreck. We'll see who it is for the duels and 500. Hamlin gets a nod for his mistake in qualifying as well.

Did anyone hear why Kyle Busch went to the garage last night shortly after his brief charge to the front on that restart?
He looked like he was going for broke, then he turned into the garage.

Probably got mad when he found out he had no friends that would draft with him during the race after that brief charge.

Wasn't he hurrying to catch the pack on the restart on just had alot of speed built up?

Yeah but nobody would 2 car tango with him once he got to the front.So he went back to the back.Then to the garage.With no mention of why he went to the garage.
 
I think its WAY too early to be picking a Daytona Bonehead. The way those cars were dancing around on the straightaways, there's plenty of opportunity next weekend for someone to out-Bonehead this weekend's prospective candidates.

Hamlin apparently tried to change the position of his steering wheel while moving onto the track. The cars are fixed to turn left if the steering wheel is removed. On questioning after he continued to qualify, he just said the steering wheel just locked to the left.

Kyle lost 1 lap under yellow while they were trying to fix a problem with the toe. They didn't get the toe right and the car was not handling right. In a 75 lap race where the only thing that matters is winning, why would you drive around multiple laps down?

He came out of the pit late under that caution and was already at full song by the time he caught the field just as the green dropped.

He coulda got the lucky dog. As I recall, stewart spun Waltrip shortly after.
