My bonehead award goes to NASCAR. They provide yet another ho-him road race and sat on the caution too long when Cody Ware crashed. He hit that barrier a ton, which should have drawn an immediate caution.

I won't agree with you about the race being ho-hum but you're spot on with the Ware delayed-caution.
 
Bubba for taking a potential top 10 & turning it into 29th because of a needless battle with Bowman. Bubba will probably have to point his way in so he needs good finishes.

It's worse than ho-hum. It's just a bad track. All the walls and narrow corridors make for nowhere to go in accidents, resulting in a lot of caution-worthy incidents, but because there are so few laps, a caution is a big deal, so every wreck is this horrible decision of "do we stop the race again?" rather than "is this a valid caution?" On top of that, look at the caution for a fan incident because there wasn't another way to deal with it.

I really want this race off the schedule. And soon we get Sonoma, too, so that's two really bad road courses in a short span. I'm not anti-road, btw, as I really love the Glen, and can enjoy others, but a bad track is a bad track.

Yep easily the race director.

Why didn't you just say all street courses. They are all tight.

All of the others have some room for runoff, reducing the possibility of cautions.. They aren't enclosed all the way around. Yes, the drivers shouldn't be in the wall but when they're not perfect then more green flag laps are lost than on a more open circuit.

Some candy asses don't like challenging road courses. It happens.
