I could care less if an car owner is an announcer and has bias towards his team or critical of it. It has absolutely no impact on the race.

Agree. Some of the greatest commentary moments include Ned Jarrett calling Dale Jarrett’s 2 Daytona wins, and Darrell Waltrip calling Michael Waltrip’s 2001 Daytona 500 win. That’s family, what’s the difference between that and car owner?

I did. It’s actually so much easier to root for Chase Elliott without Jeff in the booth.
