I was all set to split the award three ways between Jeff Gordon, Brad Kesolowski, and Juan Pablo Montoya for hitting every car except for themselves and Johnson. Talk about driving over your head. Then I saw Ambrose shut the car off and lose 6 spots and lose the race on that move. I haven't see a dumb move like that since Mark Martin drove his car to victory lane at Bristol with still one lap to go under caution in the Busch race. People can complain all they want about whether NASCAR should have allowed the passes to stand or not. Ambrose should have never put himself in that spot. And if the crew chief told him to do that, he should lose his job over that. Even the guys in the booth new he had more than enough gas left.

I vote for the other 42 drivers for ruining the road courses for me now, since I used to look forward to them since JJ doesn't win on them.

Marcos Ambrose for one of the dumbest things I've ever seen. Jeff Gordon, Brad K, for their driving at Sonoma and Paul Menard for his hitting everything at Road America.

Paul didn't hit the pace car, at least. Sadly, Carl Edwards gets that award...

Unfortunately it goes to Marcos for shutting his car off and costing himself an easy win.

A close second would be Jeff Gordon for hitting everything but the pace car.

Ambrose, hands down. Like MRM said, that was the dumbest move since Martin pulled into pit lane on the white flag.
