Yes and no. I don't think Allgaier will get a decent Cup ride. He absolutely has to have a solid Nationwide ride next season to get a look from other team owners and that's not going to happen since the Cup drivers have all the solid Nationwide rides. Allgaier's been screwed over by NASCAR making it easier for Cup drivers to run the ENTIRE Nationwide season.
 
I'd have to to say the last 10 races, cut the season to 26 races, end it at Loudon in September....no need to run it into the NFL season. Most tracks in the local scene around here end their regular seasons in September or at the latest early October. NASCAR needs to get their heads out of their asses and realize they can't compete with the NFL for ratings no matter how hard they try. Until this happens, IMO, the last 10 races are a wash.
