I go with IndyCar for choosing to race at Vegas after all the drivers have repeatedly said that track was too dangerous to race an IndyCar on. Also for the bonehead move at the very last minute to offer 5 million in that stupid promotion. Boneheaded decisions like this is (imo) is just one if the reasons Danica moved on to NA$CAR.

The 5 million thing wasn't last minute it had been a plan since last winter, it was originally supposed to be drivers from outside Indy.

You seem to know of a lot of paved ovals that NA$CAR has abandoned in the past few years which of those do you think IndyCar could race on?

Not many. College Station would be so fast, it's ridiculous. They topped 220 in a COT out there. I don't think California will be any better.

Earlier, on NewsNation, an SI writer said IndyCar was considering dropping all ovals (minus Indianapolis) from the 2012 schedule.

As kkfan said, the $5M challenge was announced a long time ago. I fail to see what that has to do with anything anyway.
