Damn, I saw the title and immediately thought this was going to be the most exciting thread of the day.

What a let down.
 
Hamlin for wrecking the #00

Ragan for dumping the #96

Stremme for wrecking the #7 several times

Robby Gordon for messing with the #12 only to get himself wrecked


My nod goes to the #12.
 
NASCAR: Penalizing the #7 for "trying to be aggressive" (wtf:confused:) then saying the #7 hit the #12 under caution even though none of ESPN's 70+ cameras saw this contact.

That was a crock.

The stuff between the 12 and 7 was great. Robby should have dumped Stremme before Stremme got the chance to do it.

Yeh me too thought there was a lot flashing going on at race and I missed it!!!
 
I say NASCAR sucked today. The 18 scraped the fence several times today, the 16 scraped the fence, a lot of cars brushed the wall today and kept going. But.....when Jimmie was in the pits to replace a carburetor and the 6 brushed the wall, NASCAR took the opportunity to throw the "Save Jimmie" yellow...:mad:

Robby Gordon clearly showed why he is a stupid idiot. He gets into a bumping match with Swerving Stemme, and then passes him. Only to one lap later, he got himself dumped by Swerving Stemme. No wonder why is car is sponsor less, he is a dern fool. I kinda gave Robby a pass for his decent racing background, and for being a hard charger. But today was just another display of stupidity. I never understood why RCR gave him a ride. Now RCR has another loser in Mears, but that is another story.

No conspiracy. Just wondering why the caution on the 6. Nothing came off of the car and he didn't even lose any speed. Just like the other guys that brushed the wall in similar fashion. Had NASCAR not thrown the caution, Jimmie would've been down at least an additional 2 laps.
 
I nominate Vince Welch for his asinine statement in his postrace interview with Pablo.

I also nominate ESPN for continuing to allow people with the IQ of a donkey near a microphone.

Mine goes to NASCAR for not throwing a red flag after that wreck and wasting all of the laps on caution. They either need to do that or not count caution laps with only 20-30 laps to go. They really screwed some guys over who I thought could have advanced at least a bit more had they had more laps.
 
Give one to NASCAR for not penalizing Hamlin for wrecking the two MWR cars. Their favoritism sucks.

with ten laps to go I believe kurt busch got into JR. and he slapped the wall and I think he cut a tire, it sure looked like he had a tire going down.

You are correct. Jr was heading for a pretty good finish when he was put into the wall and he started dropping like a gold digger in an empty well.

I vote Hamlin.....or did I already vote. :D

btw, what happened to Andy's regular topic on a similar subject.
