Quite an accomplishment for only his second try as Owner/Operator!

No comments? Look at how the Rookies did, and how about those Dodge dudes?? If it weren't for Stremme, there wouldn't be a Dodge in the top 10!

wow boris..talk about underdog...although i guess rousch does help him alot

Bad day for the Dodge boys. Boris....well it is the pole, but can he run well in the race ?

I don't know how to post pictures so I'm posting a link to this story from MSNBC.com that shows Boris upon learning he's on the pole. I love the look on his face :)

I am happy for Boris and can imagine how he must feel winning the pole at Daytona. It would be great to see him finish well in the race.

now let's see if he can get the other item of business done. he's using a busch series pit crew, but we saw via gililland, if you have as good car and that right pedal down, it doesn't matter how slow that pit crew is.

and plate tracks make that even more true. From first to last to first in 5 laps isn't hard if you play nicely.

Pulled off a top 5, not bad, pretty much like a win for that team...way to go Boris!

I think that is pretty exciting for Boris and team. There was a part of me really pulling for the underdog to pull off an upset.

and they have a outside sponsor now...I didn't catch who but they said somebody will be on the car for watkins and indy

It's all part of Roush's way around NASCAR's attempt to stop the Roush charge.
Don't forget the 2 Yates cars, so that makes 6. :)
