I find this strange considering RPM's long history of financial troubles. One has to wonder if there isnt already a sponsor lined up contingent on Bowyer signing there?

Maybe Petty could convince STP to return? I dunno...
 
Always a possibility. This could start a chain reaction as I doubt RCR wants to scale back to 3 teams.

Did'nt Petty used to have General Mills ( Betty Crocker brand ) as a sponsor?
Anyone no if it's a re-up year for RCR and General Mills?

Pettys always been a cheapskate on driver pay thats why he's never had a decent one.
 
One thing that could be a sticky with an RCR/Bowyer is the grandsons/Papa deal, you could say their grandparent-ed in.

Four car max:

-Maynard is money
-Of the three others Harvick is the keeper.

-Plays hard ball with Bowyer and Burton, no long term promises because a potential of two seats must be reserved.
