Boy am I sorry at cooking

The only thing I can cook is Mexican food. I tried just now to make some cookies and I put a cup of salt in the batch. Its supposed to be like 1 tsp. I almost threw up when I tasted it. Oh well.

The really bad part was I doubled the batch.

lol mustang. Not at you but with you.

I baked some cookies for kids I was babysitting for. They were SUPPOSED to be sugar cookies. I used salt instead of sugar not only in the recipe but to coat the cookies as well. The kids kept asking for something to drink. lol... :D

I've done stuff like that, and I cook a lot. Used plain flour instead of self rising in some biscuits. Roush called wanting to buy them as scuffs.

I think the worst was when my mom was making stew. Instead of black pepper, she grabbed the cinnamon. THAT was some randy stew...
 
Mustang........you hang garage doors as work, right? If I were to get you to come hang one for me, should I read the instructions for you?:D God, those have to be nasty cookies!! Will they skip when you throw them across water? Hey, lappy is always looking for skeet.........send him some!!:ROFLMFAO:
 
It said 1 cup on the recipe. Somebody wrote it down wrong (My dad's sister we think). Man, we wasted alot of chocolet chips.
 
lol. I'm actually a pretty good cook from watching my parents as I was growing up. I even have my recipes for stuff. Invite me over and I'll make something for you. haha!

(yes ladies, he's single and he can cook! Give old rpm a PM if interested. Just j/k! :p )
 
That was just a wee bit much on the salt. But don't feel bad I cant cook either. LOL
