Its obvious NASCAR made a horrible call, even though some will refuse to except it. I'm sure if Jimmie Johnson went below the yellow line and beat Jr, Jr fans would be quite angry with the outcome. And to say NASCAR doesn't play favorites...well...nevermind.

But that is the past.

Lets move on to some real racing at Martinsville. :)

Apparently people don't have more important things in their lives to worry about. :)

hehe. i love nascar. :)

Its all good. I love a little controversy. Actually, this was a big one. :D

Isn't it about time for people to start grumbling that the ends of races are fixed? It seems like awhile since that conspiracy has come up. Maybe I've missed it.

I also heard that Aliens from the planet X are planning on purchasing Nascar, so I'm curious to see how that turns out.

I love that place. Love short track racing, man.

one last reply from me on this topic, I never said that the call was a good one. As far as I'm concerned what is good for one is good for the other. I think the Sterling Marlin call at Daytona was a horrible call. But that was the call that was made and we all have to live with it like it or not. I do agree that Nascar is run unfairly but I'm not gonna quit watching just because of one stupid call. Some of you people act like you lost your house on this race, come on its a race, there will be another one this weekend and another one the weekend after that. Well, I'm moving on now. B)

Just think, we get to do this all over again for the Pepsi 400 at Daytona. ;)

Double the fun... can't wait <_<

:salute:

I didn't renew my Pepsi 400 tix. I'd rather do Oprah then go to Nascar's Earnhardtfest 2003. It's real nice of Bowtie to somewhat agree with us oon the call. What a backhanded statement that was. Plain and simple. If you're a Jr fan, life is great. If you're a fan of a real driver, then bend over.

Hmmm here we go again with the bashing....can't we all play nice?? :D

Yep just about everyone has had their say. So it's on to Martinville and a new controversy next week. :D

I just want to add one thing to this and I want say another word about it. Whats done is done and there is nothing we can do about it. I think it was the wrong call and I even took Junior in the race pool this past week. Nascar has screwed up a few times lately and maybe they will learn from there mistakes but who knows I still love NASCAR. Oh and Bowtie i agree about the Sterling Marlin thing at Daytona but he would have had to pit anyway to get that tire rub fixed.

Hey people , been a while since I've been here. Just have to toss my 2 cents here. Has any other driver been not penalized since this "rule" has been in effect. I personally don't recall it. Any way it's good to be the golden boy i guess. And don't go hollering at me ........ I like DaleJr.

Yes,it's just 1 race, but terrible calls & non-calls like this start making U wonder how many races & even Title outcomes have been changed by such bum calls in the past!JMO!
