Can DEW screw it all up!:)

Choose the wrong option installing Mandrake and now trying to fdisk to get it so the hard drive will format and install ME again......bad news!:(

Oh well, not the first time:D

Yeah, this is me......good ole DEW, fixing another screw up I made.:( Not giving up on Mandrake......just going to do it right next time.:) Probably be sometime tomorrow before I'm back up and online....about two months before I get it back like it was though. I'm having fun:(
 
I partitioned my hard drive with Partition Magic and had about 1/2 my hard drive available for Linux.......but I chose the wrong partition to install Mandrake on........it went down hill from there.:( Dumb mistake, but it won't happen again.

BTW, from what little I saw of Linux, I liked.:D As soon as I get my HHD fixed and ME installed, I'm going to install Mandrake again.
 
I'm back.........with ME!:) But, planning on trying this whole thing all over again later this evening......wish me luck!!:D

With any luck I'll be back using Mandrake.:leap:
 
I hope you are...I need another Linux buddy. I can always lend a hand if you need it.

But trust me, you'll be pleasantly surprised with Mandrake.
 
I'm sure I will Paul.......discovered a few disturbing things about Microsoft during this adventure. Like "Alexus".......but that's another thread sometime later.:)

Going to log off soon and eat dinner and then dive into Mandrake.....probably yak at you tomorrow.:)
 
Later, guys.........logging off for dinner and then the Mandrake thing. Hopefully next time I'm here, it's using a totally different operating system.
