Brad Keselowski thought he'd won the pole for Saturday afternoon's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway (5 p.m. ET, FOX Sports 1).
In fact, the 2012 Sprint Cup Series champion even posed with the pole award in Victory Lane after qualifying ended.

Keselowski won't lead the field to the green flag for the Hyundai Construction Equipment 200, however, as NASCAR ruled that Keselowski's pole-winning lap didn't begin until time had expired in the final round of knockout qualifying.

This was in two other threads. I still like it though. He deserves what he gets.

Yep. Everybody saw it. The clock said 00 when he crossed the line.

They let him go all out posing as the pole winner before they could decide?!!!!!!!!!! :dunce:

I just love how NASCAR didn't have ANYONE in their booth who could have caught that Kes missed the clock.

Larry Mac is always watching the clock. It wasn't close at all, question is why didn't brad see the flag? IMO, they prolly figured bad brad knew he didn't beat the clock. Nobody saw anything, making NASCAR telling him during the celebration more painful and embarrassing. o_O

Meh, he'll get over it. He ain't very deep.

Why did he start 10th and not at the tail end of the pack??

I don't know why they didn't see that the first time.

Frankly I think Nascar wanted one of their stars on the pole and had to change it because of fans tweeting that they clearly saw him miss it.
