"Brandon Warren's no longer with our team," Lane Kiffin said after practice on Monday. "He's been dismissed for conduct detrimental to our team. We wish him the best of luck. We'll give him full academic support to keep him going in school. That's the last I'm going to comment on it. Very unfortunate."
VolQuest.com reports Warren had a heated exchange with wide receivers coach Frank Wilson Saturday night during the Tennessee/Auburn game.
The Alcoa native was a freshman All-American tight end at Florida State. He transferred to UT after his freshman year. This summer, Lane Kiffin moved Warren from tight end to wide receiver.
