Jack is a strong sour mash,I don't sugggest it.I would use a good KY bourbon.:)

Good whiskey tastes good!:D Actually, if I drink whiskey, I go for a good Scotch blend...........like Johnny Walker Black.:)
 
I stick with Jack Daniels and Southern Comfort. Nothing like sitting on my back porch in my swing sippin' Jack on a late summer evening....

Rum or Corvosier(sp?) is best, bur you need to sprinkle some nutmeg on the top and use a cinnamon stick for stirring

Way, way back when I drank whiskey, I used Southern Comfort as a mixer! :) Loved that stuff, but unfortunately, it's probably the main reason I gave up the really hard stuff. It always made me feel like I was invincible. I'm lucky I never got into any real fights. :drinkA:

The last time me and Jose had a go of it, I felt something really funny on my back. Turns out it was the floor......

Cutie, here in cheeseheadland we use brandy in our egg nog. Cinnamon will work just as well if you don't have any nutmeg.

Nascarwoman, you live very far from Beaver Dam? I once visited a friend who lived on the lake. I have a really good friend who lives in West Allis. He's the father of our old NASCAR Gang. Big Packer fan...you?

Buckaroo, a big Bear fan who's in the closet! :)
 
Buck, I live on the other end of the state. A suburb of Milwaukee. West Allis has the fair grounds, which is home to the Milwaukee Mile. I live about 40 min from there. Not really a Packer fan. I don't really care for football. I went to college in Chicago and actually attended a Bears game at Soldier Field. It was OK, but I wouldn't do it again.

Yeah, I know where it is. Went to the first Busch race and the next one back in '93 and '94. Had a great time. Ever go up to Door County? Went there once and absolutely loved it. Took the ferry out to the island, can't remember the name. One more thing, ever go to the Renaisance Faire just south at State Line? Used to attend that every year. Fun!:)
 
I have never even had egg nog before. Maybe i should have a virgin one since i don't drink any
