A reliable source inside Braun Racing reports that the #19 car with Chad Blount will not be going to Nazareth this week due to sponsorship issues. As a result, Blount asked for his release and it was granted. The team will have a new sponsor announcement next week for Lowe's. Rumor has it it will be a current Cup driver in the seat. These developments do not affect the #30 with Steadman Marlin and Keystone Light at all. (05-15-03)

Thats a shame, I thought that Chad had a good chance with this team. I hope he lands somewhere, and becomes succesfull!! Wounder who the cup driver is to fill the seat?

They lost their motor coach & a trailer full of sponsor displays last week on the way to St. Louis when a tornado blew it over just as they got into Illinois.

Braun Racing's Tornado Encounter
May 7, 2003 (Mooresville, North Carolina) – Ed Susen (aka Tuna), motorcoach driver for Braun Racing team owner - Todd Braun - was the latest victim of a tornado in the Midwest. With his self labeled - Tuna Tour 2003, Tuna and the Newell motorhome began their trek to the Gateway International Raceway yesterday in preparation for this weekend’s NASCAR BGN Series event. As he approached the Illinois state line last evening, Tuna literally drove right into a tornado. The force picked up the motorhome and tossed it around before depositing it into a roadside ditch. Tuna, who was thrown around heavily in the encounter, received only minor injuries. Being towed behind the motorhome was a brand new enclosed trailer containing a company van, scooter and golf cart. It is believed at this point that everything is a total loss, but more importantly Tuna is doing well.

“That is not the kind of phone call you like to receive in the middle of the night,” stated Braun. “But most importantly everyone is safe. We can replace most of the things destroyed, but in a situation like this you are more concerned about the safety of one of your employees.”

Also on board was a large amount of POS materials for sponsor, Keystone Light. “One of Tuna’s duties other than driving my motorhome is to go into a market early for Keystone and visit some key retail accounts and make sure there is a good array of promotional materials in these locations for race weekend,” said Braun. “I am sure our sponsor will understand if there are no displays this week as their POS materials were destroyed along with everything else in the accident.”

Tuna and the Braun Racing team looks forward to a much brighter weekend ahead of them in the St. Louis area.

There is also pictures at this link below but they don't mention anything about Chad:
