A short track somewhere
Easter Weekend, NASCAR Truck Series at The Rock with UARA and either Pro Cup or ARCA. Will be announced on Wednesday.

About damn time... too bad nobody will show up.

Hopefully people go but I doubt it. I've missed this track and I'm glad it's going to be back even if for just one race

Easter weekend is a tough sell.

I hope it works. A Grand National East Race would be a good companion event imo.

I don't know? Darlington has done very well with it's Mother's Day weekend date.
If I can work it into my schedule I'll be going!

Big difference between Mother's Day weekend and Easter weekend. If you have kids, they usually want to go to easter egg hunts and other activities.

Just tell them that the Easter Bunny got run over by......lets say....Kyle Busch, for example, and you're all going to the track to boo him. ;)

This is essentially the same thing they did to Rockingham before; giving them a rotten date. This gives NA__AR the ability to say, "See, no one wants to see races on tracks like The Rock."

You never saw a Easter egg hunt in the parking lot or pits???

They could land a perfect weather weekend and the fans still won't show. Hell, they didn't even show up to North Wilkesboro when that place reopened.

That because Rockingham and North Wilkesboro are out in the middle of NO WHERE. Seriously, I love The Rock as much as the next guy, but it's kinda hard to justify holding a costly race at a track that's situated in the middle of no where.

Yeah, I would of chose a different weekend but I thought NASCAR always took Easter weekend off.

Its only 70 miles from Charlotte NC to Rockingham NC.

Still in the middle of nowhere though. I've been to Rockingham, it doesn't have the infrastructure required to support an annual or bi-annual NASCAR weekend.

Hearing a lot of people talk about how Rockingham will sell out  and people saying they will be there.

If the fans don't show up (and they won't), I will scream.

Rockingham will announce today it picks up one of Nashville truck dates.

Word is maybe Iowa will get other.

It's official, Truck Series at The Rock on April 15th.

If all of yens who have said you'd show up when NASCAR returns there aren't there, I will scream. So show up.

You can order tickets on the phone at 910 205 8800 or 1855 NC ROCKS.

Y'all begged, shouted and screamed for this race. Y'all said you'd be there, now make it happen!

No excuses, pick up the phone and make that call to order tickets. Chop, chop!

I'd be there in a heartbeat for a Cup date but as I've said before, I can't justify an 1,100+ mile round trip weekend for a stand-alone Truck weekend. I hope people turn out in mass but you can count me out.

UARA and ARCA will be there with them from my understanding.

Ehh not really a big fan of the trucks TBH. I may go to see the UARA, Pro Cup and/or ARCA though.

Andy Hillenburg is on SIRIUS Speedway now. He says that ticket sales are going well since the announcement.
