Well, I was supposed to go to the June race. Guess this year's big road trip is off the table.

Does anyone know what kind of attendance they drew with the events they ran? Or was this reopening of the historic track doomed from the start?

If Dustin Long's report about their monthly payment is accurate, it was destined for failure.

PASS and USAR drew good crowds last year. PASS had a large crowd this year but the night race got pushed back to Sunday afternoon and the attendance dwindled. I know a lot of people (myself included) were looking forward to going to the UARA race.

USAR has already moved their second North Wilkesboro date to Hickory with one more race TBA (from what I'm hearing, well, all I'll say is there's been a lot of testing at Old Dominion Speedway).
