Brett Bodine said yesterday [at the Canada Day Shootout at Cayuga Speedway, where his brother Geoffrey subbed for him] he has a new three-year deal on the table and should have it signed within 10 days

WOW a 3 year deal!! Tha would be huge for Brett, I just hope he doe snto get into a situation like he did with the Close Call Sponsorship a few years back
 
Brett is a good driver, but we can't deny the realistically inevitable. Unless his team gets backing (engine and chassis and aerodynamic wise) it'll fall just like Darrell Waltrips team. Just goes to show that most single car independently owned and driven teams are a thing of the past ! :(
 
I am not a Bodine fan by no means. But I hope Brett can get a sponcer and get well enough to get back on the track.
