Could it be a way around NASCAR's double secret probation for Brad? :growl: Could be interesting. :D

Brian Keselowski tested at Toledo Speedway Monday to prepare for his Sprint Cup Debut this weekend at Bristol in his #92 Dodge. As long as testing goes well and they get the car to what they feel is a properly handling setup, Brian will attempt to qualify and will race the entire event.

I doubt he'll make the race. And even if he does I doubt he'll even get close enough to Carl to wreck him.

This is a good thing.

I realize they all want to race in cup. But I think they should wait til they are a little competitive at least. 1 top 10 in nationwide back in 2007 doesn't make him competitive enough for cup. Heck he's not even competitive enough for nationwide.

He wouldn't make the race driving the #48 :D:D:D
Well, whens the last time he had a quality crew, and ride, to grow with?
Never. Thats when.
Beats the hell out of watching Bill elliott, or Terry Labonte going 3 laps down, thats for sure.
I hope he gets in.:beerbang:

Exactly. Brian Keselowski's actually a pretty good driver, 3 career ARCA wins (2xBerlin, Salem)

There's a difference between winning races driving for Eddie Sharp and winning races driving for Bob Keselowski.

Besides, I like Scott Speed.

I like Speed as well, and you do have a point on the teams but its still a huge jump from ARCA to Cup. We'll see, I don't wish bad things on the guy but damn, is he really ready to tackle Bristol in a Cup car already?

No, he's just there to take Carl out!!!:D
Sorry, couldn't resist!!!
MoMike

In all seriousness,I hope he gets in, and finishes in the top 30.
Thats not out of the realm of possibility.

Better Bristol than Texas or Talladega.

Brian Keselowski is an example of what's wrong with the Nationwide Series. Dude doesn't even get a shot in a quality ride because Cup drivers have them all. Stephen Leicht wins a ****ing race and is out of a ride the next year.

Yea, good for him that someone is giving him a chance. That alone is pretty rare these days.

Good point Andy, agreed

What's the big deal? If he plans on running all the laps that makes him better than the #55, #66, #13, #87.........

It'd be interesting to see him make the race and then take out one of the top drivers or chase contenders.

If he plans to run the full race that would be great. But he runs full time in nationwide and has only completed 2 races there.

Is it really going to sour, and ruin your entire weekend if he parks it 150 laps into the race, you big sensitive guy?????:sarcasm:
I hope Brian knows what a profound affect he's going to have on fans if he doesn't complete the race in true die-hard fashion...........

 Big sensitive guy...lol

But no it's not going to sour my entire weekend. I don't care what he does. Why don't you read farther back? Someone said maybe he plans to run the full race. I just commented would be great if he did but he runs full time in nationwide and has only completed 2 races there.

1 hour, 15 minutes into practice he's now 48th out of 48 that have taken to the track. Perhaps he's trying not to show what he's got and saving it all for that qualifying run? :growl:

I expect he's saving the equipment for when it counts
He was only 7 mph off the the leader in 2nd practice.

Jeez, who might've guessed. He was only 5.5 mph off of the pole speed. CLEARLY not ready for the Cup series. How many wins does he have in the Nationwide series?

clearly equipment not ready for the cup series
