but he did make the chase which can't be said for most drivers. i'm pretty sure he's satisfied with his performance throughout the season. he did have a good year.

I for one, had him picked to finish 7th in the chase. I really didn't think JPM would contend, though I bet hardly anyone did. I really don't know what has happened to Vickers this year, but hopefully he can get it turned around within the next 5 races.

You're right -- Vickers is so used to mediocrity that he isn't pissed when he's running shotgun on the field.
