Only 46 cars at Indy thats kind of sad :(

I like how past Indy 500 winners are considered favorites for the Backyard 400. Hornish, Pablo? Same track, different league.

It will be very hard to bet against Tony, Jeff, and Jimmie. I think Mark Martin will be a contender, and you cannot count out Carl.

And the winner is?

will see Sunday, I think it will be a surprise!!!

Jeff Gordon becomes the first one to ever win 5 times at the Brickyard

Wow, it must be true. Look how big that font size is.

I'm going with Gordon too!

Hey did anyone else here that there is a tire test scheduled for this Sunday @ Indy around 2:00PM. I thought I read that somewhere but I didn't want to start any unnecessary rumors.

I think either Tony, Johnson, or Gordon will be the driver to beat.

Here's a thought: who has the best chance to become a first-time winner in the Brickyard 400?

I'd have to go with either Mark Martin, or Juan Montoya. Martin has momentum from Chicagoland, and Montoya is on a roll lately.

ROTFLMAO --- I heard that, too. Supposed to be 40+ teams doing the test.

I can't narrow it down to just one driver for the win ---

Tony, Jeff, Jimmy

Not only will 40+ teams be there the test is open to the public! You do have to buy a ticket though. The rumors of food, drink and souvenirs at outrageous prices are true.

It is Tony's turn to win. :beerbang:

I will take Montoya for the pole.

Tony's won it twice since Gordon's last win. It's Jeff's turn. LOL ;)

Actually, Tony is my 2nd fav to win since he's an Indy boy. :)

Can't count out Jimmie or Mark either.

Out of the top picks would be Kahne & Montoya .

I wouldn't count out Ryan Newman or Sam Hornish. Newman's been rock solid all season. Hornish is improving by the week and he knows how to win at Indianapolis.

This will be a decent race if Goodyear doesn't drop the ball.
