What the heck happened to the rest of this thread?
Anyhow, I was reading this this morning.....
Dale Earnhardt Jr. won’t be racing this weekend but he’ll still be at a NASCAR track.
Earnhardt will be the guest picker for ESPN’s “College GameDay” show at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway on Saturday morning, representatives of NASCAR’s most popular driver confirmed to Motorsport.com.
Earnhardt, 41, announced last week that he will sit out the remaining Sprint Cup Series schedule this season while he continues to recover from a concussion suffered in a wreck at the June race at Michigan International Speedway.
Earnhardt is set to appear during the show’s final segment to make his college football picks for the week alongside the show’s hosts.
The broadcast is slated to run on location at Bristol, site of Saturday’s “Battle at Bristol” football game between the Tennessee Volunteers and Virginia Tech Hokies.
The game is sold out, except for some VIP experiences, but you don’t have to have a ticket to watch “GameDay,” which will broadcast from 9 a.m. to noon ET from the speedway’s FanZone Earhart East Parking Lot.
