I just wanted to relate this little story,so you can listen to how many times they mention "Thunder Valley " today.I went to the track a couple of years back for the race.I had promised my grandson a "Thunder Valley" T shirt,because he thought it was a cool name.Went to every souvenier trailor on the lot.No "Thunder Valley " stuff. I asked one official Bristol vendor why? He said because that phrase is copyrighted to the dragstrip event and you can only get that stuff during the drag races. Strange?
