anybody know what they're changing it to? 35 and 36, 36 and 37, 35-36-37, or what?

well it's only a degree at a time, and i think it helped homestead. Why Bruton tried 12/24 back when TMS first opened who knows. But i like the 3 different lanes idea, i just dont think bristol is big enough for 3 different changes, so i guess it'll be 36-37?

The general concensus is that it greatly improved Homestead.

Hopefully it'll do the same for Bristol.

The other general consensus also states that most folks like Bristol because of the beatin, bangin, and general driver hostility. Personally that's the only memorable moments for me. IMHO if they were to progressively bank this track and it lead to actual racing I might just like it that much more.

I fondly remember the track before concrete. Side-by-side, running up next to the wall, right rear smoking, beating and banging racing.

It would be lovely to see that again.

What has been reported is the top of the turns will remain the same and the bottom lane will be the one flattened out a bit. The theory behind it is to get the cars closer to the top and use the bottom for a passing lane. We'll see how that works.

Hey, let's not stop at 40, let's make it 45 degrees and let the cars run wide open all the way around the track. Hmmm, makes me think of the carnival where there are motorcycles that run around a wired cage at 90 degree from the horizon. :)

then they'd redefine worlds fastest half mile.

In that scenario i wouldnt be surprised to see 150 MPH at the bullring.
