Good idea.

Who's looking for a good fight this morning ? We've got about 10 hours to cover and I wont be around here for the race ;)

Yeah we do. Thank God they didn't reschedule qualifying for today. There is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY to much going on at the track.

Would someone post the lineup? And, please, let's stick to the subject ---- just for once. :D

Like how qualifying got rained out and the people that paid thousands to goto the track get screwed by NASCAR incompetence?

Patrick did very well for herself last night but she's going to have her hand full for this race.

Like how qualifying got rained out and the people that paid thousands to goto the track get screwed by NASCAR incompetence?

Not so happy with that 37th starting position, huh?

FYI:

Bristol TV coverage affected in some markets: NASCAR fans in six affected markets will be able to watch ABC's telecast of Saturday night's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway on alternate channels through arrangements made by the local ABC affiliates. The ABC affiliates in the six markets will be airing NFL preseason games Saturday night rather than the NASCAR race but with the alternate channels in each market, the race telecast will still be available nationwide. ABC's coverage begins with NASCAR Countdown at 7:00pm/et.
In four of the affected markets, the race telecast will air on ESPN, including Buffalo, Tulsa, Weslaco, Tex., and Quincy, Ill.
In Detroit, ABC affiliate WXYZ-TV will move the race telecast to its digital tier 2 channel and then join the race in progress when the Detroit Lions preseason game ends.
In Rochester, N.Y., ABC affiliate WHAM-TV will move the race telecast to its digital tier 2 channel.
ABC affiliates in Little Rock, Ark., Corpus Christi, Tex., and Omaha, Neb., will pre-empt NASCAR Countdown at 7:00pm/et for local news but will join the ABC telecast at 7:30pm/et. The race's green flag is scheduled for 7:43 pm/et.(ESPN)(8-22-2012)

Add Miami to the list of markets that will have to surf the guide. ABC Miami will not air the race due to hurricane coverage and the race will be seen on ESPN.

I'm excited about this race. Kyle and Jeff Gordon are gonna hold nothing back tonight! :bounce:

Unfortunately I'm going to miss it but I agree 100% and would add Edwards/Ambrose to that list. Hope everyone enjoys it...go #17 :D

Casey Mears on the pole? Guy should just pull over and go to the back because that's where he's going anyway.

Thunder storms developing west of the track. Hopefully they don't shift east.

In the 90s Rusty threw a Coca Cola on Dale during a red flag for the rain at Bristol. Not sure why as clean Dale was, then John Boy and Billy did a song about the Coca Cola incident. Racing needs a little hate like that, but with today's economics they have more couth now.

No one to blame, just a different era with different demands.

Should've gone a tribute to the old MGD car... The Stroke of Midnight!

I always get a kick out of the brand name "Miller Genuine Draft", since it comes in a can or bottle and is obviously not genuine draft beer. It's like the "idea people" were working late to come up with a new name and were coming up empty and somebody finally said "F-it, lets just lie"

Smoke14's niece might like MGD.

Anyone going to the IndyCar race in Baltimore next week. Now, there's a place in Baltimore with all kinds of beer to be consumed. Dozens and dozens of beers! :bounce:

Greg Biffle is in the number 16 "Bondo filler" car tonight.

:beerbang:
