THIS IS FROM A NEWSLETTER I RECIEVED FROM BRISTOL.

I hope all is well with you as we approach another race week at Bristol. I also hope this note comes as good news to you. You are receiving this communication because you indicated a desire to be a Bristol Motor Speedway season ticket holder.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, one of our corporate clients today informed us that they no longer are able to continue their ticket agreement with Bristol Motor Speedway. As a result we have a limited number of SEASON TICKET Packages available for the 2007 season, which includes the upcoming Food City 500 as well as the Sharpie 500 night race in August.

I encourage you to act now and call our ticket office at (423) 989-6900 to purchase your tickets to 4 exciting races. These ticket packages will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.

Please note that some of these packages have a slightly obstructed view due to an adjacent structure – these packages are sold at a discounted price, and you will be given first option to upgrade your seats for the 2008 racing season.

It's your chance to have more than just an account at Bristol Motor Speedway – it's your chance to get your own tickets now

Fans jammed the phone lines at Bristol Motor Speedway Friday morning, the day after the track sent an email to fans on a waiting list informing them that 200 season passes were available for purchase.

"They've signed up on line or called us, and we've put them on our waiting list," said Evelyn Hicks, Bristol Motor Speedway. "We decided to do an email blast to those people, and they've pretty much taken down the phone system here today."

The tickets became available when a corporate client notified the track it no longer could use them, Hicks said. An "email blast" went out Thursday night about 5 p.m. instructing would-be season ticket buyers to call the Bristol Motor Speedway ticket office Friday.

BMS employees could not make or receive phone calls for much of Friday morning because of the calls for season tickets. Hicks said the track has forty lines, and all constantly were in use for several hours. Hicks said, "We opened today at 9 a.m., and we were sold out by 9:40 a.m.."

Season tickets prices range from $300 to $400 each and guarantee seating in the spring and fall Nextel Cup races at BMS.

Bristol Motor Speedway still has tickets available for the Husqvarna Pole Day on Friday, March 23rd and the Sharpie Mini 300 Race on Saturday, March 24th.
