I am one happy campper. Got a letter today fron Bristol Motor Speedway. I have got tickets to the Foodcity 500 next march. Seems like a long way off.

Just don't come back all bummed about too many caution laps. 15 to 20 percent under caution is common on the shorites. It's part and parcel to short track racing.

If nothing else it gives yer eardrums a break

And your ears definitely need a break. I've never heard anything so loud as Bristol.

I have been warned about the noise. I take me and Spok4 some earplugs. Wont buy any at the track for 2 bucks a pair. :lol:

I sat at the very top of the Waltrip grandstand. I had my scanner and headset, and after the race my ears were still ringing.

I actually took my headphones off for a few seconds just to get a feel for how loud it actually is. :lol:
