Anyone else get sunburned w/raccoon eyes?

I was just glad we didn't have any ice-storm delays like last year!! Although, looking back, that was kind of a fun once-in-a-lifetime thing.

I had a great time and took lots of pics. I just thought since I knew of several of us that were at the race, that we could have a little discussion thread & share pics & stuff.

Our seats were the only ones that were in the shade all day long. I was thinking of trying to exchange them after this year but I don't know so well about that. Especially since I have respiratory problems. We were good and cool all day.
 
You must've been up between 3 & 4 ;) (and/or right underneath some skyboxes)

We were probably half & half in the shade & out. I was 15 rows up one section over from the crossover gate in turn 3.

I wish I could get tickets to a Bristol race, would LOVE the night race!!! Guess I will have to settle for this wekend though. I am headed to Martinsville Friday Morning!!! Woo-Hoo!!!!

This is the first time in about 10 years that I haven't been to Martinsville. I will have to sit this one out because of some health problems.

Hope you get to feeling better. I actually hads to sit out last year's pilgrimage to Daytona due to Vertigo problems.

You could definitely get them for the Spring race. People were everywhere trying to sell. The night race may be different.

lol...same here. I'm as pale as it gets so I slather on the good stuff.

Any particular brand of sunscreen or has Nascar - for safety reasons - started mandating which ones can be used?

Did they do an inspection post and pre race? :rolleyes:
