Ummmmm actually no it really doesn't.

I'm really sick. :(

I'm on an antibiotic and an inhaler. I am still working, the inhaler works wonders. I can actually breath after using it.

sorry to hear that...get well soon...have some chicken soup. I know bronchitis sucks

I feel for you, I take all those plus more and the doc says oxygen tank is next. One piece of advice, "stay away from diesel fumes".

I've been breathing aviation gas fumes for many years........many on the ramp (tarmac) have succumbed to cancer

Stay upright - at least in a semi-sitting position (like a recliner) - cough all you have to and spit like a fool - don't lay flat too much - that's where pneumonia (pn) can set in.

I'm not a Doctor but I do work for the CDC and I get "tons" of health alerts - pn is still a killer and it doesn't just effect old folks.

Take care of yourself.

People don't realize...serious lung infections without proper care are very dangerous - no matter your age.

I remember way back in grade school...I grew up in a very small town and there were a couple girls (twins) my age in about 4th grade. Rebecca and Rachel. They both wore long skirts and seemed to keep to themselves but I was always a "conversationalist" and I talked to them - especially Rebecca (cutey-pie). Then the next year (after summer vacation)- Rebecca wasn't in the class anymore. I asked around but nobody said anything. Where did she go - Rachel was still there. Come to find out Rebecca somehow got pn over the summer - her parents didn't believe in antibiotics - they just prayed over her and she died.

I didn't know so I asked at our dinner. Mom was always forthright and said she had heard that they were "backward"...in their religious beliefs.

A simple shot of penicillin would have saved her life.

Very, very sad, we had neighbors when I was growing up that did not believe in medicine. Prayers will save you. Their boy was 7 or so when he died. :(

I'm much better but I'm still going to go see my nurse practitioner on Tuesday so she can check my lungs. I'm not sure they are totally clear yet. They might be but I'm just not sure. Perhaps I am just being paranoid. :)
