Kurt must have thought it was a rodeo, he rode gordon for almost the full 8 seconds,,,,,,,:D

No penalty, one of them "racin' incidents" I guess:rolleyes:

Gordon can't be too happy today, wonder what will happen at Dega??

They interviewed Jeff after the race he indicated that he had it coming. Sounded kinda weird to me.

To bad younger brother didn't do it to the 48 when he had the chance. If it was a rookie or a woman he would have spun them in a heartbeat.I guess he just got scared.

As much beating and banging as there was all day, and I do mean from pretty much EVERY driver that was out there, I found it strange that the 2 felt that Jeff did enough to him to feel as though he needed to wreck him. Then again, Kurt is a strange bird anyway....

Kinda runs in the family!

Can you imagine what nascar would have done to him if he had turned Jimmie? Although everything yesterday was considered a racing thing, I don't think nascar would have looked at him spinning Jimmie as a racing thing.

Maybe Kurt needs a booster "shot" from Jimmy Spencer?;)

I will say this, for the most part he has been playing nice with others lately.

i missed the interview but maybe jeff meant he shouldn't have bumped kurt out of the way when there was plenty of racing left. he didn't wreck kurt but still, he should have known kurt would come back at him hard. that's how kurt races. you have to know who you are racing against.

That's funny!!!I miss mR. Spencer!

I know that popular belief is that Kyle deliberately takes people out all the time, but it's not true. He has taken people out but generally it's not intentional. Why would he deliberately take JJ out? He definitely was not happy with JJ though. Can't blame him for being pissed, he was obviously faster but at the same time, JJ needs to protect every position he can as well. He IS still in the chase, Kyle really isn't.

I would like to add that if Kyle was in reach of the championship then I would fully expect him to take out JJ at Martinsville. What better place to just call it a racing deal. I wouldn't be surprised, maybe I just hope, that JJ gets an overly aggressive nudge in the early laps by someone at Dega.

If Kyle won't do it then who will?????????????????????????

I would expect someone who would benefit from JJ getting dumped, i.e. Harvick or Hamlin. Actually, I guess Kyle would benefit from it, clear out some of that -172 deficit, or Gordon's -203. If JJ finishes Dega in the back 30 and those other four have a decent day, it will be a big time game changer. I'm just saying that if I were one of the 4 behind JJ going into Talladega, JJ is getting dumped the first chance I get.

Throw in the guys fighting to be in the top 35 and that this is their last realistic opportunity for a big points day, it's going to be nuts.

Wrong. Kyle, or anyone else, would have had NASCAR come down hard on him if he were to blatantly "take out" the points leader of the chase.

I certainly hope that isn't true. With all that they have let go this year , they could not jump in at this late date a penalize someone who hit Jimmy.

I'm about as big a fan of Jeff Gordon's in here, but I'd have to say I thought he kinda had it coming. With what he did to Kurt, I fully expected Kurt to at least bump him if not spin him entirely. I have no problem with what Busch did in this instance.

I'm glad to see a Gordon fan actually see it the way it was, instead of the Bush brothers hatred. :D

If the roles were reversed, EVERYONE would say Kurt had it coming.

No, not Kurt, but Kyle....he has it coming every race.:D

Reutimanns message got through to him at Kansas, thats all. Now he's thinking twice before he acts out in aggression.

Yeh I think you are right.

I'm still waiting for Kurt to give Jimmie some of the Pocono payback. There's much more than that too between the two so it really doesn't bother me what the payback is from. Although, right now, Jimmie doesn't look quite like the lock that people felt he was just one week ago. So maybe it doesn't matter.

LOL at Homestead

Anyone think that Harvick wouldn't take out Jimmy at Homestead for the Championship?

Jimmy Spencer once said he'd put his mother in the wall in order to win,,,

I think that could lead to the biggest fight in NASCAR history, the fight be nothing compared to it.

Can you name 2 or 3 drivers he took out intentionally prior to this?
