I agree and Bruton has made some gaffs but overall he is a latter day PT Barnum who was trying to ensure a good show with the things he did and I bet he still gets more done in a day than many men half his age.
 
Bruton showed that you can be creative, bold and increase the fan base without destroying what the sport represents.
 
I applaud both Bruton and Curtis Turner for taking on the monumental task of building Charlotte..... going bankrupt in the process and coming back to building the dynasty he did. A lot of folks don't have any use for him because of his business decisions. You can't please everyone .
 
I would much rather race at, or watch a race at, a Bruton Smith facility over any other race track in the United States. He seems to go the extra mile to keep his facilities fan and race team friendly. My hats off to him for the big 90. I'm turning 61 in a couple of weeks and I can't imagine how I would feel in 30 more years.:)

Having only been to Dover, Pocono and the old Daytona (renovation was ABSOLUTELY necessary) could you explain why SMI tracks/track experience for fans is better? Just curious.
