Buckshot Jones is back behind the wheel of a stock car, but not on the Nextel Cup circuit, where he raced from 1997 to 2003. He's running the Hooters Pro Cup circuit, which is racing's version of Triple-A baseball, and driving at tracks such as Peach State Speedway in Jefferson, where the green flag is set to drop today on the rain-delayed Aaron's 199. His focus these days is on real-estate development and spending time with his sons.

I like ole buckshot...would love to see him get another shot in the busch series.

Me too.
This was a good move for him after the way things went for him in nascar. Take a little break to regroup and start over again in a lesser series to get back in the groove.
I wish Buckshot well and hope we see him again on the national stage.:beerbang:

Yeah, IMO Buckshot's days are over as far as the big league racing. I think he'll be sticking around this kind of racing.
