I like this idea a lot better than last year. It will never be what it was originally without Bud sponsoring the pole award. It makes more sense to me to see drivers earn their way into the field rather than just driving the correct car manufacturer. Past Cup champions coming back for this race. I like that idea too.

There are only 5 dodge teams this year correct? The 2 Ganassi teams and the 3 Gillete teams?

Jr is a past winner of the Daytona race in July so he is automatically in.

This could have easily been fixed by just adding Junior.

I didn't cry when Tony when wasn't there last year.

He is also a past winner of the Daytona 500 and also the Bud Shootout. They've got him covered from many angles.
