Bud Shootout practice is on

Just be glad you can watch DW flap his jaw. I just switched to Dish and now I have a bad switch and they are telling me they can't get a technician here till Sunday the 17th. The day of the race of all things.

... did nothing wrong! He wanted to get out of the $500k racecars and "discuss" the incident with Kurt. NASCAR should penalize Kurt for the retaliation methods.

Tony, on the other hand, shouldn't even be talked to.

These guys have got to stop wrecking these racecars to make a point. It's practice ... for a non-points low-paying trophy dash. No need to go out wrecking each other this early in the season.

Kyle said Tony will at least have some new questions being asked to him.

Umm I'm a little worry about that.

I cant stop to think how many will get wreck tomomorrow night. If practice alone saw 11 guys out.

Tony hit Kurt pretty hard going in to the turn. Totaled Kurt's car. I do not blaime Kurt one bit. I have pretty much done the same before also, but what i did was worse. Both drivers are hot heads, But im going to take Kurt's side on this one.
 
Tony might have gotten into Busch, but Busch was the one retaliating with his car. Tony didn't even looked that pissed off afterward. I think this one is Kurt's to pay. Well, not that they could have done it since their cars were so wrecked, but you didn't see Jeff, Jimmie, Bill, Ryan, etc., retaliating. Kurt could have killed one of Tony's crew last year with the stunt he pulled in pit lane. Everytime I think I'm starting to like the guy some, he pulls a bone headed moved like that. Tony may be a hot head, but this was Kurt's show this time! :rolleyes:

We could be watching some wild racing!!!! Look what we saw just at practice!!!! Yep, it is good to be talking racing again!!!! :beerbang:

Tony had a run. There was nothing he could do except pass Kurt.

I don't know if the spotter of the 2 car was asleep or what but Kurt should've gotten out of the way.

Then Keebler Elf decided to retaliate with racecars and Tony wanted to settle it out of the cars and not damage these $500k racecars anymore than they are. Why punish the body shop for Kurt's ignorance.

Don't let your hatered of Tony blindsight you of the facts. That was 100% Kurt Busch's fault.

I agree totally with you on this incident. Even Kyle Petty said it was just a racing incident on track. What Kurt did on pit road was a stupid move, again. One of the reporters in today's Greensboro paper said that Kurt should be penalized hard and not permitted to run in the race.
 
Folksies, folksies, reign those emotions in. Brian saw that ratings were down. He had to do something to get people excited, to tune in. He also wanted to capture some new fans. This is just a natural evolvement of the carnage to appease our blood lust. I'm sure some of you have watched the movie Rollerball.

I know, I know, I'm being overly dramatic but it might fit...

Ok, those SPEED forums are impossible to read and I just turned on practice a bit ago.

i just read on Jayski Tony threw a punch in the NASCAR trailer???????????????

I wonder if that is true (Jayski isnt as accurate as he used to be imo) but CRIPES what is his problem.

I don't care WHOSE fault it was it's practice. Even Yeley was kind of laughing about that fact talking to Dilner last night.

Geez...I was not sure what was happening on pit road..sigh....I have to find me a photo of Bobby labonte, Schrader, Jr or something and have rotating avatars.

I mean I KNOW Tony is a hothead but tis a bit early to be acting like this..and he has been cranky all week.

Anyway, this should prove I am an honest Stewart fan and I don't think he is faultless. However after last years on pit road incident, I am surprised Kurt would pull this again.

It's PRACTICE! Stop tearing up cars.

and if Tony threw a punch in the trailer, was that part of NASCAR's new rule to 'encourage personality'.....

"Ok, boys, take a swing here and we'll move on from here...just stop fighting on the track!" :)

Oh and on Trading Paint, David Poole said Kurt should be PARKED for the race tonight!?

Also, I like clint but he could've showed more contrition for starting the huge crash..when interviewed, didn't he seem to just be non chalant bout it all? I know he didn't mean to but 8 cars were involved and some turned into JUNK.

Also to the person with tv problems, sorry you have a bad switch...it's a pain you have to wait to get service. :( bummer

Well sure we know that but how many more viewers will the incident draw for this weekend. Controversy draws eyeballs to the TV. It's all in the script...
 
I'm with Kyle Petty --- what happened ON the track with Clint, and with Tony, were racing incidents.

What Kurt did on pit road is what I have a problem with ---

Thanks I have called Dish Network numerous times to no avail. Am I sorry I changed Now YES. Before my problem yesterday NO. I just wish I had gone through a local retailer like K5 did.
