It doesn't look like either Steve Park or Jeff Green will be in the bud shootout. Both of their PR people have said this in response to e-mail from fans.

would like to see steve in it but hey, j green knew that the pettys are NEVER in the clash, i mean shootout
Yep but he still could've driven another Dodge. DEI offered him the #1 car but he couldn't drive it because of Dodge.

when did they do that?? thats the first i've heard of it. <_<

If DEI offered park a ride in the shootout IMO I don't think dodge would care if he ran a chevy for 1 non-points race

It all depends on how the contract reads. I think the manufacturers have a bigger say in what there drivers drive in the the truck series.

Right before he got the ride with the Petty's for 2004. I guess it shouldn't really matter if Jeff gets a ride, because if he's not driving for the Petty's the information gained from the race wouldn't help them. Steve has said several times that he has to drive a Dodge in the shootout. Before he got the #62 ride, he said he was in discussions to drive for RCR in the Bud shootout.
