With Boris winning the bud pole award, how does the bud shoot out work?

Does the Car get entered?
Does the Driver get entered? If it is the driver, what car would Boris drive?

I know in the winston, both would be eligible, but then there would still be the issue of what car? Could Boris use any car from any stable that would put him in the race?
 
i was confused as well between the too, btu the SHootout is forjust drivers nor ar owners. More than likely Boris will drive an MBV/2 car at the shootout. I just wonder if Boris has SuperSpeedway approval??? I think it would be cool for MBV/2 or any other team to try and feild a car for him full time in 2004! I wouldl like to see Boris in Cup!
 
I was wondering that also, It really would be funny to see him win that!
 
I wonder If Boris could even be able to stay on the track...
 
It is a big diffarence fron road courses to high bank, high speeds of Daytona. He better start getting some pratice. :D
 
Dale Jr. is automatically qualified and so is Jeff Green (even though they probably dont like each other). Dale Jr. is the favorite to win the shootout, but the favorite to win the Daytona 500, gee I dont know about that (mechanical failures)

Its just the driver goes for the Shootout. I think i saw on Jayski that MB2 was going to field a car for him, and he could drive for any car that he wants too.
