Bugatti + 5.5 miles of straight road = 304.8

Obviously a lot of other variables at play, but the kinetic energy of the car at that speed is about equivalent to an 80,000lbs semi traveling 70mph. I'd guess the semi would probably stop in half the distance but about the same amount of time of the car in this situation.
A semi would also have 5 braking axles and 18" drum brakes versus 2 braking axles and 14" disk brakes. To shed all that kinetic energy would create alot of heat.

It takes a TAD/TAFC/FC/TF a half mile to stop, with the aid of parachutes. With brakes only, it's closer to 3/4 mile.

And that's with carbon-carbon brakes.
