LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - The amino acid glycine, a fundamental building block of proteins, has been found in a comet for the first time, bolstering the theory that raw ingredients of life arrived on Earth from outer space, scientists said on Monday.

This is a pretty strange article. It seems like some people will go a very long way to try to disprove creation. I guess it just goes to show you that figures don't lie, but liars can figure.

This is another example of how "discoveries" can be used as evidence of your own preconceived views. I've never really believed that Earth is the only planet with life on it. It just seems illogical to me that the entire universe is simply void of any intelligent life. That being said, I don't feel the need to try to convince anybody that I am right and that they are wrong. I guess that's why I don't get government grants to publish my own views and opinions wrapped up as "science".
