Saturn has lost money since day 1 for GM. So, to see it go is not a bad business move. Penske was trying to purchase it for the dealer network which is one of the best in the nation to hawk Chinese made cars. The Chinese cars can't seem to pass any of the safety test given to them and retooling was going to take too long. Gm was committed to building the current Saturns until 2012, but Penske couldn't line up production after that. Saturn parts will now be available at all GM dealers, so finding parts won't be too hard. It just sucks for the resale values (ask me I own a Pontiac.)
