And living in Houston, he’s also a Texan. He likes to shoot guns. So, when a press release arrived in his inbox offering him a smartphone screen protector made out of bulletproof glass, he did what any right-thinking, enterprising, Texas-based tech reviewer would do.

He received two samples, put one on an iPhone 4, then shot it with a gun.

Sorry -- the screen protector stood up well to the abuse, including running over it with a car.
It did NOT survive the 9mm Beretta.

Wow! If you have to be concerned with your iPhone being protected to stand up to a 9mm round then you've got bigger things to worry about.

That's a very good point. You may need to rethink some of the situations you are putting yourself in.
