Although I'm not a fan of the post-victory burnout I think this will be cool to watch...

Burnouts and Donuts Highlight Pre-Race Show For Sprint All-Star Race: Top Sprint Cup Series drivers will prove who can execute the best burnout and donuts during the inaugural Pennzoil Victory Challenge prior to the Sprint All-Star Race on Saturday night, May 17, at Lowe's Motor Speedway. The timed-competition will include five drivers who must demonstrate four essential skills of any victory celebration: a tire-smoking burnout; spectacular donuts; precision driving into "Victory Lane;" and, as with anything in racing, speed. Clint Bowyer, a first-time Sprint All-Star Race participant and driver of the #07 Jack Daniel's Chevy, is the first official entry for the inaugural event. Other participants will be announced at a later date. The Pennzoil Victory Challenge will take place on the frontstretch of the 1.5-mile superspeedway at 6:15 p.m., just prior to the start of the Sprint Showdown. Each driver will be in similarly prepared Richard Petty Driving Experience cars wrapped with Sprint All-Star Race decals. A $10,000 donation will be made to the winner's designated charity. The inaugural Pennzoil Victory Challenge will be televised live during SPEED Channel's pre-race coverage of the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race.(LMS PR)(4-23-2008)

Harvick, Johnson, Stewart, and Kyle Busch do the best ones.

...he's got the most practice.

OH! You had to see that coming. I'm surprised someone else didn't beat me to the punch on one of those other guys. :)

They're all very good. I'll watch.

Actually Gordon has the most wins of all the current active drivers with 81.
Jimmie is 4th with 34.

Yeah, but Gordon's burn outs don't seem to be all that great. I remember a couple of races where he did some pretty lame ones.

Some may say its the problem he has with his wrists that keeps him from having good burnouts...

Victory burnouts are OK, I suppose (except for the lame ones where the driver does nothing more than put his bumper against the wal and hit the gas...), but to make a contest out of them is, IMO, just silly and stupid. Hell, they've already made the cars look like crappy tuner cars, now they're having a burnout contest. What's next, drifting???:bleh:

An old rumor why Gordon couldn't do very good burnouts was that he had traction control. Maybe they've found a way to shut it off after the race. :p
