What the hell happened to global warming? :mad:

It's cold enough to freeze hell out here. :eek:
 
Dude, grow a pair. Its not yet begun to get cold. I can almost guarantee that January and February will be colder.
 
I'v been at I-55 Speedway, south of St. Louis MO this weekend. The day time felt good, but it got cold at night, but i know its going to be colded in a few months! :(
 
was 77 when we were racing yesterday. started cold, but that was one hot 77 in the sun.
 
We cooled down to about 85 here ;) ...Don't worry, it'll probably be back into the 90's next week.
 
Down and out here in SoCal it's warming up again! Gonna be 94 Wednesday!
Might just chase me off to Dana Point south on the beautiful Pacific coast!!!!
Red Flags will be flying too cause those blasted Santa Ana's are on their way back. That just means more fire danger.

You do know all we northerner's laugh at all of you who complain about it being cold, right? LOL We laugh even more when schools and roads close because of 2 in. of snow. It's not like we send out our plows for that little bit of snow either. Oh yeah...and they are predicting some snow this week, but it won't last. The ground is still warm ... somewhere. :D

My "son" had a blast when he was based at Ft. Bragg and ya'll got a little snow and everyone was freaking out. He just took his Jeep out and had a blast doing donuts. LOL ;)
 
It has been pretty darn cold south of Kansas City, of a morning and night. It doesn't help when you are used to warm weather, and have to adjust back to the cold weather.
 
Yorkie, you hit it on the head for sure. Since I've lived down here, they have closed the schools many times just on the forecast alone. And sometimes it doesn't even snow, yet they have closed the schools. The reasons given are that it's for the children's sake...safety you know. But then the people down here aren't used to driving in any slick conditions and so there is logic involved. But when they cancel a school day because they have forecasted snow, and then when the kids wake up, it's sunny and beautiful outside, you can believe there is a lot of parents who gripe and moan...understandably.

Oh btw, haven't seen snow for about two years now so we're due for a couple of inches and three days of no school. :cool:

Remember being in Jacksonville Fla on a bid'ness trip 20 or so years ago. Had snow flurries, I mean the streets barely had a white covering. Watching the locals drive was a hoot, it was like they were on a amusement park slick track!!!:D

LOL That had to be a hoot!! I remember a girl I used to work with had moved up here and had a "Florida car" and back then, they didn't put defrosters on the back windows (I think it was just the back) and she had a heck of a time when it got cold here. Lots of scraping and then it freezes up again on ya. Arggh... I hate that it's getting so much closer to being the way of life around her for the next too many months.
 
36 at 8:00 am and hopefully warming up soon <g> suppose to get to 59 today but i'll believe it when i feel it.
 
33" this morning.

I lived in Fla for a couple of years after I got out of the service. Had a car that had no heater/defroster. Came from the factory like that.
 
84 and windy here today...I kid you not several of the kids in my class wore long sleeves today! :rolleyes: Tomorrow the high is only 80! Whoo-Hoo!!
