It's in the 20's this morning I was getting spoiled by the high 30 low 40s we have had the last week or so. 2 hour school delay, we got a light dusting of snow last night and they are acting like a southern state  We are supposed to get more through out the day, I hope not! I am ready for spring!
I guess they caught the Ohio shooter according to 97, funny how I am here in Ohio and he finds out before I do
Y'all have a Happy Tuesday!

Hey! 'Acting like a southern state ' hon? <_< :p

Oh well...cold feet, warm heart and all as we say down here.

And they did issue a warrant for the shooter, btw, haven't read the details yet. I dont think they actually caught him though.

Have a great day everyone!

I was still half asleep when you told me about it, sorry thought you said they caught him. :p

I probably did on the phone babe....but they haven't unfortunately. Although they have issued a warrant for the guy.

Here's a little info:

Arrest Warrant Issued for 28-Year-Old Columbus Man
By ANITA CHANG, AP

COLUMBUS, Ohio (March 16) - Police were hunting for a 28-year-old man who they believe may be the elusive gunman linked to two dozen highway shootings that have terrorized area motorists for months.

AP
Charles A. McCoy Jr.

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office said the suspect, Charles A. McCoy Jr., lived within miles of where the gunman's bullets killed a passenger, shattered windshields, dented school buses and drilled into homes and a school.

''The key issue for us right now is to locate this guy,'' Chief Deputy Steve Martin said. ''We believe he bought another gun.''

In the three most recent shootings, witnesses described seeing someone aiming at them while standing next to a car. Their descriptions of the suspect and car were similar to information the sheriff's office released Monday.

The suspect is a 5-foot-8, 185-pound white male with brown hair and green eyes, the sheriff's office said. The car is a dark green 1999 Geo Metro with a black hood.

''I don't know if he's still local,'' Martin said. ''We don't have any reason to believe he's not.''

Investigators filed an arrest warrant late Monday for McCoy on a charge of felonious assault in a Dec. 15 shooting that damaged a house.

Good Morning y'all. It's a chilly rain down here in the Ohio Valley. I dread getting out in it and going to work, but I gotta pay those bills!
I saw the news bullitin on the Ohio shooter last night. With all the info they have on him, surely he will be caught soon. Everybody look sharp!

Have a great day everyone. :)

A dark green Metro with a black hood shouldn't be hard to spot, not just everyday you see one of those.

BTW, the sun is out and its supposed to be in the high 60's today. Everyone have a wonderful Tuesday.

A bright, sun-shiny morning here in East Texas. Looks like the Bud team will have great testing weather. LOL

Hope everyone has a terrific Tuesday. I may have to abandon the 'puter for the outside today.

gonna be a beautiful day here again today..it is already warm outside right now and only 7am...............look to the bright side guys, spring is coming....and no more cold weather........ :D

It's currently 34 in the land of the cheese. That's the high for today. It's been cloudy and very windy. We are supposed to get snow tonight. I hope they are wrong.

You did it TRL!!!! 10000 posts! Congratulations!

Now, about the weather for the Texas race........yep you are most likely right about the weather for the race. I am really hoping that it is the complete opposite of what it was last year, along with NO RAIN!!!! It was way too cold last year!

maj, what year hasn't it been cold? LOL

I can pretty well deal with the cold, except when the rain comes along with it. I always stock the car with enough coats and blankets for an army. One thing my hubby and I agree on --- we don't like to sit and freeze.

You should see how I pack the travel trailer! It is a plethor of different weather clothing! From my zero degree coat to tank tops! Oh and the insulated boots to flip flops! And, there's probably about 7 or 8 blankets anywhere from a light throw to a down comforter! My hubby thinks I'm nuts sometimes, except when I pack for race weekend! We usually have to start lending out some of the supplies because someone didn't bring something! It's a hoot! This year, I'm hoping that since I bought some of those ear warmers like snow-skiers wear, that it will be a little warmer!

But, not matter what the weather, I will be there anyways! Just have to have my live Nascar fix! :)

I tried several combinations to keep my ears warm. My favorite sheepskin bonnet is warm, but I couldn't hear -- and it looked funny with the headset over it.

Then I found a long polarfleece scarf/hood combination that fit over the headset. Keeps the whole head warm, and I can still hear.

Usually carry a pair of sweat pants that I can pull over my jeans if it gets really cold.

My seats are under the overhang, and even when the sun is out, it's frigid.
