After listening to some comments on Wind Tunnel last night, I heard a few people saying they don't like Kyle Busch because he's a jerk and so forth. But at the same time, they went on about they hoped Harvick takes it to him when the probation is over. Am I missing something here? I'm not Kyle Busch fan. But to me, Harvick is as big of a jerk as Busch is if not a bigger jerk.

Everyone has to have a driver to hate as well as a driver to love. Right now Kyle is it.

I've never been a Harvick fan and it's funny that he drives for the same owner that Dale Sr. drived for a guy if you got in his way he moved you out of his way. In fact after what Harvick said after the race yesterday I think he and his boss are the as$es of NA$CAR, not Kyle Busch.

I wonder how long Harvick thinks NASCAR is going to put up with him showing his ass before they park him?

I think it is so funny that Harvick can't keep up with Kyle in the driving department, so he has done every thing he can do to try and intimidate Kyle, and that isn't working either. Kyle just looks back and says cya later.:D

If Kyle were ahead of Harvick in the points I'd have to agree with ya. :beerbang:

Points doesn't mean that you are a better driver. It means that your team either had some good races, or some not so good races. Luck has a lot to do with how many points you accumulate. Other drivers---your crew, or your car and parts and many other things can cause you not to accumulate points. I judge a driver on how I see him drive on the track, not by how many points he has a few races in to the season.:)

Nice spin.

:beerbang: or as many wins this season as Harvick.
Andy--Andy--Andy, I didn't think I would have to spell this out to you. But here goes. The amount of wins would be just like the amount of points, and that was explained in post #8.:( I'm frowning here because I really thought that you guys would come up with something a little better then what you have come up with.

I agree with the peson who posted this topic...Harvick is as big if not a bigger jerk that Kyle, always has. The junk he was pulling at the begining of the race was ignorant and stupid.

I'm with dpk and andy.If Kyle was that much better than Harvick he would be ahead of him in points and number of wins this year.
And that's ok Mike. That is what makes racing so great, you can see a driver through your eyes, and I can see them through mine.:)

It was payback for the stunt Kyle pulled on Harvick in Darlington.

Boys Have At It.

Mike may I ask you who you think is the best driver in cup cars and who you think is the worst driver in the cup cars?

Kevin has 17 Cup wins in 10 1/2 years...
Kyle has 21 Cup wins in 6 1/2 years...
I think that pretty much sums up which is the more successful driver.

Then don't you think he should have been penalized because he is on probation?

Not answering for SP, but I don't think so. The probation was for his behavior. His car not passing post-race is not something he even had control over. He should be penalized points yes, but it should not be connected in anyway to his probation, IMO.

Kyle has never contended for a championship. Kevin had more top 10s, best average finish and most points in 2010, something Kyle has never achieved.

I can play this game all night.

Those are some pretty impressive statistics.:)

I was talking about Harvick. Sorry I didn't make it clear.

Best average finish....still less wins. Blah blah blah. We know yu don't like Busch. You should get another horse, the one you keep beating is dead.....

Technically you are right if you are taking results from this season alone. if you are using overall lifetime wins for each driver, then the answer is different.

Let's check back in a few years and see how it all shakes out.

Not as impressive as

Daytona 500 winner
Brickyard 400 winner
Coke 600 Winner
All Star Winner

Kyle has done NONE of that. With that said I'm done so have at it.
It is more impressive in the media, but they all race against the same cars every weekend. When we race at the us. nationals in Indy it isn't any harder then when we race at Bristol Tn. We still race against the same teams that we race against all year. The media hype and the history is what makes it so important.

As much as it pains me to say it.The best seems to be the 48.Always seems to find his way to the front.Although he seems to be slackin some this year. The worst I think is Mears had good rides and never did anything with them.

I don't know, I think Johnson is having a better year this year than he did last year. I mean he basically had to finish in the top 5 at Homestead last year to secure the Championship, and Hamlin had to have a bad race.

This year, Johnson is already 2nd in points, and catching up to Carl Edwards, only 6 points divide them now.

But, and I hate to say "if the chase were to star now" but I will, JJ would actually drop back to 4th in points. Just wanted to point that out:)

Didn't he start in 6th place when the Chase Started in 2010?

4th place is nothing, Johnson will make up the ground. :)
