RICHMOND, Va. - Kurt Busch was the only driver to top 123 mph in the final test session Wednesday at Richmond International Raceway.

Busch posted a lap of 123.141 mph in his Penske Racing Dodge.

Juan Pablo Montoya was second quickest in the afternoon session with a speed of 122.393 mph in his Chip Ganassi Racing Dodge.

Richard Childress Racing's Jeff Burton (122.344), Bill Davis Racing's Dave Blaney (122.084) and Ganassi's Reed Sorenson (122.067) rounded out the top five.

The top five had representatives of three of the manufacturers - the top Ford was Matt Kenseth in 19th (120.827).

The only incident in the session came when Jimmie Johnson spun on the frontstretch but did not make contact with anything.

This was the last test of the car of tomorrow prior to upcoming races at Phoenix, Richmond and Darlington over the next five weeks.

The drivers will now get back into their traditional cars next week when they go to Texas.

Kurt better get on the stick pretty damn doon. Rusty leaves and look what happens.....You can tell who the leader in that team was.

Seems to me its Ryan that needs to pick it up. He and Rusty never ran the same setups anyway so Rusty leaving shouldn't have upset his team at all. If anything it should have strengthened it if he were able to bring in any of Rusty's people before Kurt got on board.
