I'm watching the pre-race now. Great interview of Jeff Purvis. :)

Funny how there's no uproar about NASCAR dropping this track from the schedule.......it's been on the circuit for many many years. Almost a tradition. :) I think it's going to be a good one..........and it'll definitely be more enjoyable to listen to!! No DW and Larry Mac!!! :cheers:
 
There is no such thing as Tradition anymore. Not even in NASCAR!
 
i won't get to watch...i hope KB can pull out another big W...if he can shine today after his brother blew it big time last night...it'll make him look like solid gold.
 
Kyle stood up in the drivers meeting and stated that "my name is KYLE Busch.. K.. Y... L.. E... and I think that Greg Biffle is THE MAN!!"
 
did Rusty, Kenny, and Mike or Terry and Bobby or Jeff and Ward ever have this problem?

Hey, anyone besides me notice that the announcers are talking about the drivers on the track instead about themselves? :) How refreshing!!! :cheers:

This could get slicey and dicey....only 27 cars still on the lead lap and only 33 laps completed.
 
who's leading? what's happened? no tv or radio here...stone age, i know, but quiet
 
Bobby Hamilton Jr is eating 'em up!! Got the lead with a couple of really great pit stops and has been driving away ever since!! :cheers: Race is on record pace...........only two cautions so far. About 40 laps left.
 
Hamilton Jr in 1st, followed by David green, Truex, Stremme and Keller with 19 to go.
 
Man I thought Bobby had this one in the bag!! :D Great finish...........Martin did it exactly right!! :cheers:
 
Hey, at least 24/7 will be good this week with Stremme and Atwood finishing top 6....

You notice he always has an excuse ready? Never has to stop and think. Who was it that said Baby Jr. has a "10 foot ego in a 4 foot body"?

He just screwed up. And what's the deal with blaming lapped traffic and DEI for his screw-up?

Truex with another win. Could that be another nail in Mikeys coffin. :lol:
 
Congrads to Truex :cheers: I say where looking at the Driver of Car #1 unless their just gonna run the 8 and 15. If I was Mikey I'd be worrying :unsure:
 
I think Mikey will quit the Busch league after this race
 
Jesus C, I just realized something...if he quits busch and DEI boots him, he's gonna join big brother in the booth. Now if they dump Larry Mac and get Goofball Bestwick, they'll have the tri-fecta.
 
It almost looked like Kyle had discovered Bill Elliott's secret gas formula from '84(?) during the 1st part of the race. Then with the 2 absolutely horrible pit stops that sent him to the back both times what were they doing? Or, should I ask what were they undoing? Once someone else was up front you didn't have the cars being lapped at the pace they were with Busch. I'm just wondering...
 
Got back from Nazareth last night after a gerat race. Busch had a great car but those horrible pitstops lost it for him. Congragulations to Martin Truex Jr. for a great win at a great track.
 
I got a great chuckle out of that comment about Mikey joing his brother in the booth. The place wouldn't be big enough for their egos. Most likely if he ever did that he would go to NBS.... i mean NBC. Bestwick is his buddy. ;)
