Busch rubs drivers wrong way
Posted: Saturday May 31, 2008 10:05AM ET
NASCAR's Kyle Busch and Jeff Gordon said Friday that they had settled their tiff from last weekend's race, but Busch's aggressive style has rubbed some drivers the wrong way. The 23-year-old Busch -- who leads the Cup point standings with three wins this year for Joe Gibbs Racing -- also has emerged as NASCAR's latest villain with perhaps the series' most aggressive driving style. Kevin Harvick, however, had words of caution for Busch. "Kyle Busch is an incredibly talented driver," Harvick said. But having a bold demeanor, he added, "takes its toll on you as you move down the road. You have to respect the guys who laid the foundation for the sport . . . and this sport has a very good way of breaking you of those habits pretty easily," he said.

Like that dumb azz Harsucks has absolutely any room to talk. Jealous twit. Kyle wins Harsucks don't, sounds like the preverbial sour grapes to me and besides, Kyle Busch is the best thing that could hapen to NASCAR, they needed an uplift and Kyle provided it. Harsucks is an idiot. Just incase you didn't get my drift. Duane

Good observations Duane, Andy agrees with you actually and is having a reeeeeal hard time admitting that he is in fact Shrub's newest and maybe soon biggest fan.......aint that right Andy? :D

..I wonder how much longer you think you can try and marginalize and berate him, when in fact he is what Nascar and the fans have needed for so long :beerbang:

and tkj24....thats actually 4 wins

I throw stones and I catch them too, no big deal. I can't remember the last points race Harsucks won, and for that ingrate to marginalize anyone after the way he has acted is ridiculas. Still tic's me of, can you tell? Duane

He last points win was the Daytona 500 last year. He also won the All Star race last year.

How many times has Kyle Busch won the Daytona 500 and the Brickyard 400?

Harvick hasn't done much this year. Personally, I think he needs to man up and quit *****-footing around when it comes to Todd Berrier. If he doesn't want to pit when a caution comes out, well he's the driver, don't drive down pit road.

That said, Harvick actually makes it to the finish of the races, unlike Kyle Busch. Busch either wins or wrecks trying to win. And he's just lucky those Toyota's are producing 15 more rear-end horsepower. Once NASCAR allows Chevy to run an engine package that can keep up, those two Gibbs egos have something coming.

And I know Kyle Busch will wreck Harvick to win, so I doubt he'll win this year. I just can't wait for Harvick to whip his ass. And NASCAR better not penalize him when he does because they've let Kyle and Denny get away with a lot of crap this year.

I'm just afraid Kyle Busch is gonna kill somebody with his "unlimited driving talent."

Yeah, I agree. I'm sure Kyle would rather be about ready to set the record for most consecutive finishes than leading in the points...

The Busch Bashers are crackin' me up! Here's a couple of their recent quotes:

First off, Kyle is leading in the points. And he didn't get there by simply winning 4 races and crashing in the rest. He's got 10 top 10 finishes in 13 races. And the 3 races he finished out of the top 10? 11th, 17th and 38th. And he's finished on the lead lap in all but two races this year. Other than the 38th place finish at M-Ville, I'd say he's finishing the races instead of crashing out of them, as y'all seem to suggest.

Amd "kill somebody?" Pulease!

BLA BLA BLA----Racing is "what have you done for me today" sport, not last year---I hate that Toyota in in NASCAR, knock off the excuses, Mikey ain't winning with the 15 hp either, nor is Hamlin or Tony-----and you probably sent death threats to Sterling Marlin too. I still don't know why I answer your inane crap. Duane
